Day - 1 : IXB/NJP/Siliguri - Gangtok
On arrival at IXB/NJP/Siliguri, proceed to Gangtok (5,410 ft) which is 120 km approx. away and takes 4.5 hours drive. After reaching Gangtok, check-in at the hotel. Evening you may enjoy hangout at MG Marg and give taste to the local foods at restaurant on it. Stay overnight in Gangtok.
Day - 2 : Gangtok City Tour
After breakfast, visit to Research Institute of Tibetology, ), Enchey Monastery, Botanical Garden Ganesh Tok, Rope way, Do DrulChorten, Rumtek Monastery (Famous because here Dalai Lama took shelter when he was escaping from China), apart from this you may see Hanuman Tok, Tashi View Point, and one of the finest falls close to Gangtok is Banjhakri Falls. Later back to Hotel and stay over-night.
Day - 3 : Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir
After early breakfast, start your day from Tsomgo lake (12,400ft) and New Baba Mandir (13,200ft). Please carry 3 passport size photos and photocopies of any valid Govt Photo ID proof of all travellers. School IDs/Birth certificate required for children. Please note Nathula pass (Indo Chinese border) situated at 14,500 ft. is an optional sightseeing point, which is not a part of this package. Special Permit is required for Nathula, is done on extra cost paid directly on the spot and is totally dependent on the issuance of permit by the Sikkim tourism Dept. It is closed for visitors on Mondays and Tuesdays There will be extra charges too. Permits may be granted on a clubbing basis. (Nathula Extra per Cab if Permitted)
Day - 4 : Gangtok - Darjeeling
After breakfast drive to Darjeeling, check-in at the hotel. You can visit the Mall Road and go for a walk in the evening. Stay overnight in Darjeeling.
Day - 5 : Darjeeling Local Sight Seeing
Wake up early in the morning (3:30am) to witness the sunrise from Tiger Hill (2,590 meters/13 KM/45 min). On the way back to the hotel, visit the GhoomMonastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, enjoy toy train ride , visit the Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, P.N. Zoological Park (Closed on Thursdays), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (Closed on Sundays) and Chitrey ( Tea Garden view). Stay overnight in Darjeeling.
Day - 6 : Darjeeling - Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/NJP
After breakfast check out from Darjeeling hotel and if there is time you may stop at the mirik lake and later drive to Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/NJP (Railway Station)/Siliguri for onward journey (70 KM drive/3 Hours approx).
